Other Items

For all of the activities it is recommended that you bring with you several pairs of base layers, I would recommend merino wool but there are other alternatives to this.

You will also need a lightweight pair of gloves as well as warm mitts, a buff or face mask, a warm wooly hat (or 2) a hot drinks flask as well as a water drinks bottle, a camera of course and a small ouch pouch (personal first aid kit) to include any personal medication and to treat any small injuries you may receive during the activities.

I shall be carry a well equipped first aid pack but this will not take into account any allergies that you may suffer from.

Getting there:

Travel in Norway is an experience in itself, you will journey through some remarkable countryside or if you take the Hurtigruten, you shall witness some amazing coastal scenery. For some of you, the week’s sea kayaking around Senja and other islands may be only a small part of a bigger holiday, so I have included various options. Travel services throughout the country are very efficient.

Travellers joining us from overseas can connect their flights through London or fly straight into Norway and seek alternative connections.

There are daily flights in and out of Tromso Airport and to book flights from London to Tromso visit: www.norwegian.com. Alternative airlines are KLM and SAS.
