Local
hospitality

We are at present at the Arendal Kayak Club, I
have come to the conclusion that Norwegians are at the top of the
Karmic tree, they have been gifted with such a beautiful coastline,
I was under the impression that the southern part of Norway would be
the boring part of the trip, it is a gorgeous piece of coastline,
remote, beautiful but with these amazing little cabins in some of
the most amazing locations.
We are at present being entertained by Atle, he is a life time
member of the Arendal kayak club, his father founded and built the
club some 25 years ago, when he isn't kayaking he earns a living
from fishing, or is cycling around Cuba or some other location in
the globe. They are hosting us tonight and some of their club
members may be joining us in paddling down towards Kristiansund.
All is well and we are having an amazing experience paddling through
the Skagerack, hope to be rounding Lindesnes in the next four or
five days, weather depending and starting up the West coast.
