36 NM of surfing

Our position is N58 deg 49.109' E005deg 32.414' just south of Stavanger. Distance covered approx 36 nautical miles. We hope weather permiting to be meeting up with local paddler Erling Brox. Erling got in touch with me prior to departure and we arranged to meet up either in Tonsberg or here in Stavanger. We chose to head straight across to Larvik and missed each other then. As Mark and I were paddling past Obrestad Fyr today we saw a man waving to us. It was Erling, we stopped for coffee and cake and Erling has arranged to spend the weekend showing us around Stavanger and the surrounding countryside. How lucky are we, this has always been a place I've longed to visit :) a good day on the water, an ever increasing following wind had us surfing down wave all day. We're happy!
