More surfing
8th March 2008
Left from just north of Smogen early this morning, rain and strong
wind kept me up most of the night, good size wave action on the
outside and with a following wind we made a good 30 nautical miles
before have to pull into Havstenssund because my skeg wire seperated
from the blade. Ate candy and power bars, subsidised with nuts and
electrolyte drinks, evening eggs and bacon, cheese and salami, marks
just griddling some chocolate brownies as I speak. He says hi to
Mel. HR: 42 in tent on waking, 55 around camp rising to 66
Paddling 78 increasing to 84 when surfing, hit a gnarly reef and it
rose to 92.. Average fluid intake is 2lt per day
