Jeff and Mark have departed from Falmouth and started their journey to their start point in Gothenburg.  The ferry they have chosen to take is from Harwich to Esbjerg, Denmark.  They have just checked in and left a test report which hopefully has uploaded ok.  We have some work to do to get the sat phone a little clearer but they are on a big steel boat.  It is force 7 here in Cornwall so im guessing they are not getting too smooth a crossing.  The journey to the start of an expedition is often overlooked but is often an experience in itself.  Really the expedition begins when the kayaks are loaded onto the roof.
