The intermediate sea kayak course with SKC was absolutely suberb and definitely met all my expectations. I wanted a course which would challenge me and take me to that next level of being able to cope in rougher water. I was impressed by the quality of the coaching, the time spent on the water and using all the time and conditions to maximum effect. My skills and confidence improved immensely over the 5 days and the fact that I could learn in such a beautiful surroundings was a bonus. I am now looking forward to practising what I learned, being a greater asset to my regular paddling group and hopefully going on another course again soon.

It seems like a very long time ago – especially as I have only just warmed up and am fully back into the work mode now.
I just wanted to express my thanks to Chantal and Simon for the very enjoyable experience on the Kayaks. For me it was real adventure and great fun also.
My skills and confidence were at a base level at the start, but after the excellent instruction I felt quite at home bobbing around, coping with rough seas in that huge Kayak – though I often needed some course direction by Chantal.
My thanks again, and to the rest of the party who made it such good fun.

Thinking constantly about our intermediate course, just over a week ago. A powerful and life-changing experience. We have all been in regular contact over the last week and I think it would be safe to say that the course has been a very significant event in all our lives. Thank you so much Jeff (and Deb too) for patience, support and superb training.

Steve and I had such a great time on sunday and want to say a huge thank you to you. We havent paddled around the lizard before and it was great to go there. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us some doubles skills which will be really useful.

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed the introductory course this weekend. Ros is a great instructor and really made the experience fun. Of course the good weather and sightings of both dolphins and a seal helped!

We have just arrived back from Cornwall, a bit sore but very pleased with ourselves that we did the course. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and achieved our goal of getting more confident about our techniques and dealing with capsizing etc.

Sorry it’s taken me and Chris so long to say thank you for such a great break with you in July. Your coaching and encouragement and great company was really appreciated and we had a fantastic five days along the beautiful Cornish coast. Great campsites, great cake cooked in a fire, fantastic paddling and all those pasties! Chris was certainly hooked and no doubt we’ll be back down there or arranging a trip in Scotland, Norway who knows?

Thanks for an awesome weekend, i had great fun and really felt like a learnt a lot too. Petr (i'm sure i have that spelt wrong, hope he can forgive me!) was an excellent teacher, and rather than flooding me with information he was very good at just introducing new skills and ideas every now and then, giving me time to absorb them and try them out. It's also very good fun to take a course with a teacher with knowledge and kayak experiences to share, and was just as fun to see him pout when i managed to kiss the bow of my kayak, ha! :P
It was great, too, that he was willing to help me get a taste of Rolling on the Sunday, and tolerated my anger as i discovered just what a b*&%$! the wind can be!
... and i hope to see you again some time next year - i'd love to give one of the expeditions a go.

You both have very different leadership and training styles which complement each other very well.
I have attended a fair number of courses over the years and I would say that this one was one of the very best. I have learnt a great deal and look forward to working towards my assessment.
