5* training anglesey

Today and yesterday I was involved in a 5 star leader training as part of the anglesey symposium. Day 1 saw us paddling at north stack in perfect 5 star conditions. Today we worked on leadership and headed out to the skeries.

We are at the end if the weekend of the skuk symposium. The weekend saw paddlers from all corners of the world kayaking in some wild conditions. We had strong easterly winds over the 3 days. I’m staying up for the week to run bcu courses so hopefully we get the right conditions.

The 3rd rough water symposium held at camp Fuller Rhode Island is in full swing. Paddlers from all over are here to test there skills in the tidal waters of RI. This year we have had good conditions for running the various classes.
